Located in the north of Haa valley, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Soednam Zingkha Heritage is a century old traditional Bhutanese home that has been restored and transformed into a charming authentic boutique lodge – “This place has been restored very beautifully, congratulations,” in the precious words of His Majesty The King of Bhutan who visited Soednam Zingkha Heritage on 14^th May 2015.

Soednam Zingkha Heritage became a blessed Heritage Home since the visit of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen on 14th May 2015, who spent a restful and peaceful break here at our Soednam Zingkha Heritage Home in Room 774. In Buddhist culture, sites where extraordinary figures rested are considered to hold special auspiciousness locally known as Jinlab (blessing). The auspiciousness of the visit of The Royal Couple to this humble home is distinctly celebrated and we believe this Jinlab or blessing also touches those who also reside in this blessed home. This is now the soul of our Soednam Zingkha Heritage Home.

Our rooms are designed to reflect traditional Bhutanese architecture and decor, with basic modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests. Each room has a cozy atmosphere with a warm and inviting ambiance providing you with a unique traditional Bhutanese experience.

The Heritage serves set menus, including local Bhutanese dishes acceptable to international clientele. Yet, you get taste mouthwatering Haap specialties such as Hoentey, Khuli and Akho, can be served on request.

Drinks are available with a choice of international, regional and national beverages, including the ‘Ara’ distilled from fermented wheat, maize or millet, and ‘Bangchang’, fermented wheat or corn juice.
