About US
River Lodge in Bumthang, organize sightseeing, local treks, visits to historical places and even provide a guide, along with transport. Scholars who have come to Bumthang for studies will be provided guides, who are experts in the field that the guests are interested in. And we have everything required for such facilities, such as trekking gear.
We do not believe in exceptions. River Lodge is fully equipped to provide service of all ranges.
Outdoor Entertainment
Interested visitors can also try horse and yak riding, apart from venturing on a bird watching spree. We also provide biking facilities. Another enthralling experience you can have is by trying out Bhutan’s national game- Archery. River Lodge can arrange an archery game for you. If you want something different from archery, we can organize a Khuru (dart) game.
Bonfires
Visitors need to be entertained, and in the best way. They have to take back memories they will cherish forever. Organization of bonfires along with cultural shows is one of River Lodge’s special offers. You will be introduced to the different forms of Bhutanese music, Boedra and Zhungdra, which has been passed down generations and Rigsar, a new form of music that is becoming increasingly popular.
Local drink (ara) will be served on the house.
Music is a language everyone understands. Enjoy the Bhutanese dialects.
Mini Festivals
Inside the lawns of River Lodge, you can sit back and enjoy the special dances, all of which has a meaning, a story behind it. And we will be there to explain the messages conveyed through the dances.
