Rema Resort

Rema Resort is located on a hill top overlooking the stunning picture square of Paro valley. An ideal place for any visitors who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay with relaxing scenario of nature. The overall structure of the resort is designed to provide a purely Bhutanese way of life with an impeccable ambiance of peace and tranquillity spelling the very essence of Gross National Happiness. Resort offers an exclusive opportunity to experience the unique Bhutan farm that very few other resorts offer.

In Rema’s three-acre sprawl of property, it has 28 rooms, and all the room faces the view outside. The view stays loyal through all our rooms, one can feast upon the gushing brooks, the paddy fields, mist-covered mountain peaks or the majestic fortress with the panoramic view of the valley. It is an inescapable truth that an unfaltering service must always be intertwined with stunning views. Thus, we have the best views from our rooms. Room rating is always a subjective matter. With us, we took to the best to sculpt uncompromising on inferior qualities; we can proudly assert that we have one of the best rooms in the country amongst three-star resorts.

DINING

We offer our guests a choice to dine in any one of our restaurants. Serving one of the best authentic Bhutanese cuisine in the valley is our ‘Yuee Chuum’ restaurant. ‘Yuee Chuum’ means local rice. Paro is popularly known for the red rice, owing to its nutritional values, it is also exported to developed country such as United States of America. However, we named the restaurant ‘yuee chuum’ because Paro is known as the ‘Rice bowl of Bhutan.’

Our other restaurant is a multi-cusine restaurant- ‘Thori’ and it means heaven. One exclusive reason to name it so is for the view it offers from our multi-cusine restaurant. By large, the name of this restaurant dwells in the concept that human must eat as it is the basic need to survive. It is through hard work we can afford to eat and once we eat, we continue our lives. Interlinking with this basic need and satisfaction, the name struck for the restaurant.
