Leki Guest House is one of the oldest Guest House in valley, with 20 rooms in the one traditional-style building. It’s an about 4 minutes drive from the main town.
Leki Guest House is well known for it’s Textile Weaving Studio. They have practical weaving classes and also provides live weaving demonstration in appointment basis.
Rooms: The luxury here comes in the form of colors: Intricate wall paintings inside and out depict nature scenes, religious symbols, and auspicious animals like dragons and tigers.
Rooms and windows are wood panelled, large and spacious with traditional architecture and modern interior which completes the experience for the guests who is sure to be pampered by professionally trained Bhutanese staff.
RESTAURANT & bar
The restaurant/bar serves multi cuisines excellent food that includes homemade biscuits and pur organic vegetables grown around our Guest House. The dining room is decorated with homemade weaving for sale (the owner is an accomplished weaver) and textile buffs.
The dining room is huge and has a wood-burning stove that guests can gather around after dinner. Free wifi is found here and in the lobby area (and is not consistently accessible in rooms).

ACTIVITIES & services
- Well known Textile Weaving Studio organise vegetable dye on yarns and fabrics with advance booking. We also arrange hot-stone bath with herbs and bonfire.
- Best pizza and traditional cookies made here are another attraction to all the VIP visiting here in Bumthang. Gift shop is attached within where you will fine lots of Bhutanese souvenirs and textiles.
- Leki Wangmo is an accomplished weaver, and examples of her exquisite scarves and kiras are displayed in the restaurant. Many of the textiles are for sale: a great way to take home cultural heritage you can touch.
- Leki also runs a weaving studio nearby that guests are welcome to tour. See their unique organic dye process in action and get your picture taken in traditional Bhutanese dress.
