A family owned and managed resort developed on the ruins of an old granary which was built by Zhabdrung Jigme Choegyal more than a hundred years ago. The property has a natural spring believed to be a Drubchhu [healing/miraculous water.

Being centrally located, Drubchhu is in close driving range of the myriad of sights and activities of Punakha valley. The famous Chimi Lhakhang [fertility temple] is visible from Drubchhu and just a short walk away.

Evenings may be spent soaking in a hot stone bath after which you may enjoy a simple and hearty meal served in our restaurant. Drubchhu has panoramic view of paddy fields, which through the seasons always provides a picturesque scene of rural Bhutan.

You can also walk to the small town of Missina, where you will find a thriving vegetable market, quaint shops, restaurants and bars that are typical of what you will find driving along the highways of Bhutan.
